Publicity stunt or Auditions for Bigg Boss 18; ELVISH VS MAXTERN
Elvish Yadav, a YouTuber and actor who emerged as the winner of winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, has grabbed headlines due to allegations of assaulting another YouTube content creator; Maxtern (Sagar Thakur). Elvish has been consistently making news of his alleged wrongdoings. A video of the assault, showing Sagar being attacked by Elvish and 8-10 others, went viral, leading to the filing of an FIR for the incident. Both parties have taken to YouTube to present their respective sides of the story. Elvish has released a statement, claiming that he assaulted Sagar in response to a threat made against his parents.
Elvish asserts that all the allegations were mastermind by Maxtern, who allegedly placed hidden cameras in the shop as part of a publicity stunt. Previous reports suggested that Elvish had influential connections with ministers, believed to have contributed to his victory on Bigg Boss. In a previous incident involving a snake venom case, Elvish was also acquitted. The outcome of the interrogation will be intriguing to follow. However, YouTube videos continue to serve as evidence, shaping the opinions of many. This conflict appears to be an audition for Bigg Boss 18, scheduled to air in October 2024. Bigg Boss contestants are typically known for various reasons, and Maxtern seems to be engaging in this dispute with Elvish to secure a spot as a contestant in Bigg Boss season 18.
The conflict began on Twitter when Maxtern posted comments against Elvish. The situation escalated with Elvish’s recent public appearance alongside Munawar at the Indian Street Premier League. An FIR has been filed against Elvish in Gurugram Police Station, under ACP Sadar Kapil Ahlawat, with Maxtern claiming that he received death threats. The police issued a notice under 41A, summoning Elvish to the police station located in Sector 53 on 12 March 2024 for questioning regarding the assault. The FIR was registered under Sections 147, 149, 32, and 506 of the Indian Police Code. Maxtern has also accused Elvish of causing him a broken bone. In the viral video, it was evident that Elvish was repeatedly told not to beat him (maro mat) while assaulting Maxtern.
