In the meantime, Kishan’s married friend Prem (Salman Khan) frequently cheats on his doting wife, Pooja (Esha Deol), without getting caught, sustaining the disapproval of Kishan and photographer Sunny (Fardeen Khan). Tired of listening to his moralistic pals, Prem introduces Kishan to Bobby (Bipasha Basu), an attractive prostitute.

“Renowned for directing the acclaimed ‘Darlings,’ Jasmeet K Reen takes the helm in the upcoming biopic. Sony Pictures International Productions and Brewing Thoughts Pvt Ltd will finance and distribute the film. Madhubala’s sister, Madhur Bhushan, co-produces under Madhubala Ventures. This collaboration promises a poignant portrayal of the iconic actress’s life, captivating audiences with her enduring legacy.”

Madhubala, born in Delhi on February 14, 1933, and passed away in Bombay on February 23, 1969, was a leading Bollywood actress in the 1950s and ’60s, known for her beauty and acting prowess. Renowned for her roles in Basant and Dhanna Bhagat as Baby Mumtaz, she was later christened Madhubala by Devika Rani. Her breakthrough performance in Neel Kamal alongside Raj Kapoor established her as a significant breadwinner for her family. Her iconic portrayal in Mahal opposite Ashok Kumar further solidified her status. Despite starring in numerous films, her standout was Mughal-e-Azam opposite Dilip Kumar.
